UNIBEN Online & Physical Clearance Requirements

Now that the University Of Benin, Benin City has finally released her admission lists and have admitted students which you are included, the first thing that you should ask yourself is what next? The truth is, UNIBEN have admitted you and congratulations to that. You cannot just start school and start attending lectures. The truth of the whole matter is the battle line has been drawn and the battle is about to start.

There is something we UNIBEN student always say, it goes like this “If UNIBEN road doesn’t spoil your shoe then you have not actually started.

UNIBEN Admission list is out and the next thing is CLEARANCE. After you must have paid your acceptance fee.

This clearance is on two forms, they are:
1. Online Clearance
2. Physical Clearance

ONLINE CLEARANCE: Whenever you hear about Uniben Online clearance, just know that what they are talking about is the Uploading of some of your documents into your Kofa page. Remember that every aspirant of the University Of Benin has his or her own personal KOFA page and if admitted, the candidate who is now a student is going to use the Kofa page for the rest of his/her life in UNIBEN.

However, online clearance is the uploading of of some of your documents (specified by the school) into your Kofa page for screening. Some of the documents that can be uploaded are:

1. Uniben Admission Invitation letter
2. Local Government Certificate
3. Jamb Original result
4. WAEC/NECO or SSCE results/Statements of result
5. Birth Certificate/Swear from court
6. Affidavit of Good conduct
7. Affidevit of Non membership of any secret court
8. Original JAMB Admission letter
9. Guarantors Letter: This is a letter written and signed by your parents or guildian. This is to prove that some people are aware of your admission
etc.

PHYSICAL CLEARNACE: UNIBEN Physical Clearance is the type of clearance where by the admitted student is asked to come meet an admission officer for physical clearance. On this type of clearance, the admitted student will have to meet the admission officer face to face and then, the admission officer will be the one to screen the candidates.

The admssion officer will just go through your documents and check if there is any problem with any of the documents. And if paraventure there is a problem with any of your documents which can mostly be; wrong date of birth, two different names, picture in your SSCE or any of your documents not clear. He will then tell you what to do. But if there is no problem at all, you will be cleared and when cleared the next thing is to pay your school fees inorder to get the ELIGIBLITY FORM.

Moreover, before you go for the Physical Clearance, there are some document you need to go with. They are:

Remember to come to the screening with a lot of money because you will need it. You will be asked to buy record file which as of last year clearance was sold at the rate of N3,000
