NEW YORK, NY – Tekashi 6ix9ine was charged with assaulting a police officer on Monday (May 21), but the controversial rapper has denied the allegations in an Instagram video posted on Tuesday afternoon (May 22).
“For all them stories, niggas not touch no police, man,” he said. “Them niggas is fucking corrupt. Them niggas beat the shit out of me. That’s just regular shit … regular shit that happen in Brooklyn every single day bro. Corrupt-ass cops.”
The NYPD told HipHopDX that 6ix9ine caused “pain and swelling” by squeezing and twisting the hands of an officer who was removing his handcuffs. The rainbow color-haired artist refuted this story.
“How the fuck I squeeze ya hand, how the fuck I pulled ya arm out ya socket if I’m in handcuffs?” he said. “But you know, everybody gonna wanna tell a story of clickbait. TMZ, everybody wants to cover ‘Tekashi assaults a cop.’ No the fuck I did not.”
