Activist, Deji Adeyanju has claimed that the Catholic Priest shot today by Fulani Herdsmen during an attack on a seminary in Taraba were among those who protested last week calling on President Buhari to act or resign over the incessant killings in the country by herdsmen.
Deji Adeyanju tweeted:
“The priests just shot in Taraba by Herdsmen were the clergymen that led the last Wednesday Catholic protest calling on president Buhari to act or resign.”
PoliticsNGR earlier reported that men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen attacked a seminary in Jalingo, Taraba state on Monday morning. The attack left many of the students injured while a Catholic priest was shot in the leg. Cars parked in the seminary were destroyed during the attack.
Most of the injured students are currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Center in Makurdi.
