The World Cup may be creeping ever so closer but judging by Spain’s attitude during training, the nerves are clearly not getting to them.

Spain, who head into the tournament in Russia as one of the favourites, were in a very relaxed mood during training on Thursday afternoon in Las Rozas near Madrid.

The likes of Diego Costa, Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets were all seen enjoying a laugh as they took part in agility drills before playing possession-based games.

Meanwhile, Andres Iniesta, whose stellar Barcelona career recently ended, was pictured in deep discussion with manager Julen Lopetegui ahead of Spain’s friendly with Switzerland on Sunday.

Lopetegui is still without his Real Madrid stars, such as Sergio Ramos, Marco Asensio and Isco after their Champions League heroics against Liverpool in Kiev.

The Madrid players were given some extra time off due to their exertions in Kiev following the end of the domestic season.

Spain go into the World Cup in confident mood and will be eyeing the greatest prize of all this summer following a strong qualifying campaign.

The Spaniards, who won the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, face a tricky encounter against Portugal first up in Russia on June 15.

Following this clash, Spain take on Iran on the 20th then Morocco just five days later in their other group games.
