The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC has scheduled its national convention for June 23rd, 2018.
It was earlier announced that the convention would hold on June 2 but many members of the party reportedly pushed for a new date because of the Ramadan Fast.
This was approved by the National Convention Committee headed by the Governor of Jigawa state, Mohammed Abubakar.
In the statement by the National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the party added that the inauguration of new party executives will subsequently hold on June 25.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC) has scheduled the National Convention for Saturday, June 23. Inauguration of new Party executives will subsequently hold on June 25″.
